Sous le nom de Parrhèsia, mot grec désignant la liberté de la parole vraie, le Trio Parrhèsia propose un discours musical sincère et sensible. Fondé en 2020 lors de leur résidence à l’Académie Musicale Philippe Jaroussky, ses trois membres – issus du CNSM de Paris et de la HMDK de Stuttgart – se distinguent par une complicité humaine et artistique immédiate.

Ils créent en 2021 le festival Les Heures Classiques au Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard, entièrement dévolu à la musique de chambre. Formés auprès de Gabriel Le Magadure (Quatuor Ébène), du Quatuor Modigliani et d’Éric Le Sage, ils sont artistes en résidence à ProQuartet CEMC en 2023 et rejoignent le projet ECMA Pro de l’European Chamber Music Academy, se produisant dans des salles prestigieuses en Europe (Copenhague, Munich, Vienne…). Ils font leurs débuts radiophoniques surFrance Musique et bénéficient du soutien de Gautier Capuçon sur Radio Classique.

Invités en résidence au Festival International de Piano de La Roque d’Anthéron en 2024, puis à l’Académie Musicale de Villecroze, ils approfondissent leur répertoire tout en développant des projets pluridisciplinaires et un lien fort avec la création contemporaine. Ils ont reçu les conseils de chambristes renommés (Trio Wanderer, Quatuor Emerson, Johannes Meissl, Marc Coppey).

Lauréats du 2e prix FNAPEC 2024, du soutien de la Fondation Banque Populaire, et intégrés à laFondation Singer-Polignac en 2025 sur recommandation du Quatuor Ébène, ils jouent sur des instruments d’exception prêtés par John & Arthur Beare à Londres (violoncelles Grancino et Tononi, violon Camilli).

Depuis l’été 2025, le Trio Parrhèsia réalise des tournées internationales, dont une tournée en Chine de Pékin à Shanghai , affirmant son rayonnement sur la scène mondiale. En juillet 2025, ils sont lauréats de la Bourse Forte, délivrée par la Région Ile de france pour mener notamment leur projet de disque et d’enregistrement qui sortira début 2027.

Under the name Parrhèsia, a Greek word meaning freedom of true speech, the Trio Parrhèsia offers a sincere and sensitive musical discourse. Founded in 2020 during their residency at the Académie Musicale Philippe Jaroussky, its three members – graduates of the CNSM in Paris and the HMDK in Stuttgart – are distinguished by their immediate human and artistic rapport.

In 2021, they created the Les Heures Classiques festival at the Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard, entirely devoted to chamber music. Trained by Gabriel Le Magadure (Quatuor Ébène), the Quatuor Modigliani and Éric Le Sage, they are artists in residence at ProQuartet CEMC in 2023 and have joined the European Chamber Music Academy’s ECMA Pro project, performing in prestigious venues across Europe (Copenhagen, Munich, Vienna, etc.). They made their radio debut on France Musique and received support from Gautier Capuçon on Radio Classique.

Invited to be artists in residence at the La Roque d’Anthéron International Piano Festival in 2024, then at the Académie Musicale de Villecroze, they are expanding their repertoire while developing multidisciplinary projects and a strong connection with contemporary creation. They have received guidance from renowned chamber musicians (Trio Wanderer, Emerson Quartet, Johannes Meissl, Marc Coppey).

Winners of the 2nd FNAPEC prize in 2024, supported by the Banque Populaire Foundation, and accepted into the Singer-Polignac Foundation in 2025 on the recommendation of the Ébène Quartet, they play on exceptional instruments loaned by John & Arthur Beare in London (Grancino and Tononi cellos, Camilli violin).

Since the summer of 2025, the Trio Parrhèsia has been touring internationally, including a tour of China’s largest concert halls, affirming its influence on the world stage. In July 2025, they were awarded the Forte Grant by the Île-de-France Region to carry out in particular their album and recording project, which will be released in early 2027.
